News: Do You Think It's To Early For Halloween?

You know I am so not ready for Halloween at all. No way summer is no where near over for me. I haven't even been camping yet. Summer always seems to fly by for me as it is the busiest time of year with craft shows and lots of visitors to our area.

This year though at the fall craft shows I want to be the pumpkin lady. Ok so whats that you ask. Almost every year I get put next to someone who makes something really well dumb and usually in the shape of a pumpkin. Silly they are filled with stuffing with a tree steam sticking out the top. Well they sell like hot cakes as I sit there with my handcrafted jewelry and bath and beauty products that no one even wants a free sample of. I must say that most every vendor that I am next to sells out of pumpkins and has nothing to pack as I am in awe at how and what others buy.

So this year I made a pact to make my own pumpkins.. You bet this year I want to be the pumpkin lady. I would love to sell out and go home with not a pumpkin soap in sight and better yet an order for more. We shall see and to the ladies sewing their pumpkins as we speak. Look out because here I come with a bit of competition. Hopefully!! LOL

Anyway instead of cutting hair today I worked on my soap and I think they came out supper cute. They are scented in a sweet pumpkin spice and the bars have sparkles and the cupcakes do not. I had a wonderful day just creating these and wish I could do it every day instead of cutting hair. Now I am getting ready for Halloween but still enjoying my summer time.
